This beer is made with mainly American “2-row” barley with some specially crystal
malts and a touch of rye. Inspired by the traditional American pale ale, we add “Chinook”
hops early in the process for bitterness and Monmouth-grown “Cascade” hops later
for flavor and aroma. Light in color with an off-white head, it bears the characteristic
citrus aroma and a clean, dry finish. Similar commercial beers include: Sierra Nevada
Pale Ale, Schlafly Pale Ale, and Founders Pale Ale. ABV6.0%, IBU 35, SRM 10, FG 1.018,
BJCP Style 10A.
